Five layered dog bone buoy design for maximum buoyancy. A closed cell foam training device for developing endurance and upper body strength. This is a very comfortable buoy, will not cause inner thigh chaffing! It allows the swimmer to give the arms an intense workout by providing floatational support for hips and legs. This Pull Buoy enables the establishment of a good body position in water. Good Value and generous size.
To use: Grip between thighs, important for it to be closer to your crotch than your knees. This positioning will make sure your hips and trunk are supported, while also making it easier to grip for longer periods of time. Leave your legs relaxed, no need to tense or stiffen them.
Size: Large 10" x 3" x 6" and Small 8" x 3" x 5"
Special Needs Corner:
Add some buoyancy to lower limbs of CP (cerebral palsy) swimmer who has no movement in legs and has a consequent drag factor in water. Make sure the pull buoy is not too big for swimmers as it has an adverse effect on lower back and exaggerates buoyancy of swimmer's limbs if there is minimal or no use at all.
